SLA Resin Printing

MJF and SLS Nylon

Engineering prototypes

File review
We check model scale, thin walls, holes, trapped powder areas, visible faces and likely support or finishing marks.
Process choice
We match SLA, MJF, SLS, FDM, SLM, BJ, WJP, CNC or molding support to the actual part requirement.
Quote and notes
The quote should state material, finish, quantity, lead time, packing requirement and any design risk we can already see.
Sample or batch
For new designs, a first sample is safer. For stable parts, we can move to repeat production or OEM packing.
Finish and ship
Parts can be cleaned, sanded, dyed, painted, assembled, packed and shipped by international express or freight routes.
Design Review
Design Issues We Prefer to Catch Before Printing
A CAD model can look finished on screen and still create trouble in production. These are the checks that usually prevent wasted samples.
Wall thickness and small details
Thin ribs, tiny letters and fragile pins may need process-specific adjustment. Smooth resin, nylon powder and FDM plastic do not behave the same way.
Fit, holes and moving parts
A CAD clearance is not always the final clearance. Powder cleanup, curing, sanding, dyeing and coating can affect holes, hinges, covers and snap fits.
Surface finish expectations
Raw SLA, raw nylon, black dyed PA12, painted resin and coated metal have different cost and acceptance standards. The visible face should be marked before quote.
Batch repeatability
For repeat parts, we care about orientation, nesting, post-processing labor, packaging and inspection notes. That is where a sample becomes a production-ready file.

Can you quote from a photo instead of a 3D file?
Yes, for figurines, pets, portraits and visual models we can review clear photos first. For engineering parts, a STEP, STL or CAD file is normally needed for a serious quote.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
One piece is acceptable for prototypes and custom samples. For batch production, we recommend confirming one sample before repeating the part.
Which file format is best?
STL is common for printing, while STEP is better when dimensions, holes and machined faces matter. If possible, send both. You can also check our STL preparation notes.
Can you make functional nylon parts?
Yes. MJF and SLS nylon are common routes for PA12 functional parts, fixtures, housings and clips. For material behavior, see our PA12 nylon guide and MJF process guide.
Can you support finishing and packaging?
Yes. Depending on the part, finishing may include sanding, painting, dyeing, sealing, coating, inserts, polishing, plating, assembly and export packaging.
